CallReply

Lawyers and notaries

In court or at a signing, every call gets a discreet reply

Your phone is on silent in court or while a deed is read out. CallReply sends a generic message from your own number confirming a call-back, without a word about the matter.

Call back: Mr Vaughan at the adjournment

What changes for the firm

In court, the office replies. Every client gets a discreet message, without a word about their matter.

Confidentiality preserved

The template contains no case name, procedure or amount. The client only learns the call was seen and will be returned.

No case details

Calmer days in court

Pleading, a police station visit, an expert meeting: you do not answer. The client is still not left in silence.

Set up a discreet reply

  1. 01 Install the Android app On the work mobile, with access to the call log and SMS.
  2. 02 Write a generic message Name of the firm or office, and a promise to call back.
  3. 03 Exclude your colleagues Court clerks, colleagues and partners go on the STOP list.

Why stay so generic?

Professional secrecy also covers the very existence of a client relationship. A text may show on a shared screen or be read by someone else. The message should therefore be limited to: "Maître Lefèvre received your call and will call you back." Avoid any mention of a case, a hearing date or a deed. CallReply sends exactly the text you wrote.

Can I tailor it to each client?

The automatic message is the same for everyone, optionally with the first name from your address book. For a particular client, a manual reply from the history lets you write a suitable text, still with nothing confidential. Choosing between missed calls, rejected calls or both lets you reject a call during a meeting and still trigger the reply.

Which firms is it for?

Sole practitioners and small law firms who spend much of the day in court and take client calls on their mobile. The text prevents repeated calls and the feeling that the firm cannot be reached during a hearing or a duty session.

Notarial offices and clerks who move from one signing to the next. The message reassures a buyer or an heir who calls during an appointment. Several Android phones can be linked to the same web space to follow the office's missed calls.

Good to know

A reply, not marketing

The text answers someone who just called you, so it stays informational. Name the firm and add no offer, or you fall under the CNIL direct marketing rules as well as your professional conduct rules.

The STOP list

Numbers on the STOP list never receive an automatic message. Handy for court registries, colleagues, or a client who does not want texts.

Your data

Hosted in France, with a retention period for each kind of data, after which history only keeps dates and statuses. Export and erasure on request from My data.

Hidden numbers

Calls from withheld numbers, common from government offices or prisons, cannot receive a text. They remain visible in the history.

Frequently asked questions

Does my content go through a third party?

No. The text goes out from your phone, from your own number, with no external SMS gateway. Only the event and its status are recorded in the history.

Are my contacts sent to the web?

Only if you agree. Address book sync is optional, requires explicit consent, and can be stopped at any time.

What about iPhone?

iOS does not allow automatic sending. Simple mode checks your rules, then opens Messages with the text ready: you tap Send.

Does a client who keeps calling get several texts?

No. One text per number per day, with a daily cap and a minimum spacing between two sends.
